Here I am ready to tow the boat to Pemaquid
Marine to get the Transom and Railing repaired. We want to get it water tight
on the hull to stop any more interior fiberglass/foam damage. From there we'll
run it the summer to see if we like it. If we like it, we'll have the interior
and
exterior completely gone over and then repainted.
I'm hoping my father in-law will help me with rigging on the
interior seating and such. He
is a very good finish carpenter
and did a good job on his boat
too.

It is just about that time again. Welcome to the new website format. It has been
a long time since I last made a change. I decided to reorganize
all the content and it is going to take a LONG time to get it
all straighted out. Once I do though, it will be a LOT easier
to manage. I'm not sure how many people still stop by from time
to time. 
I'm not sure why I took on a project boat. I don't know anything about working
with fiberglass, or boat repair. What I
do know is that it is a Chris Craft Castaway
and there were only 125 of them made. I
guess that makes it pretty exlusive. Now
to see how much it will cost to get it
fixed up.
